The Marina

Cypress Island is a safe, quiet marina inside a gated community, tucked into a protected hurricane hole in Palm Beach Gardens.

Each slip has shore power and its own pump-out station. Fuel trucks can also deliver right to the dock, which costs less than filling up at a waterside marina.

At the marina office you will find men's and women's restrooms with showers, along with a coin laundry. Slip owners can join the neighboring community pool for a nominal fee.

The Slips

Every slip is individually owned, and they come in five lengths, from 40 to 100 feet.

What comes with every slip

  • Concrete docks on a concrete seawall, with oversized wood pilings
  • 30, 50 and 100 amp shore power
  • Water, and a pump-out station at your slip
  • Dock lighting
  • Unassigned parking at or near the slips, subject to availability
  • Wi-Fi and a live camera view of your boat, if you want them

Bringing a boat in

Complete all marina paperwork and submit it for approval before your vessel arrives. No transient dockage or accommodations are available.

  1. Prepare your paperwork

    • Two recent photos of your vessel for approval, showing the same condition it will be in on arrival.
    • Current boat registration and boat insurance.
    • Read and sign the marina rules and regulations.

  2. Get your insurance certificate

    Provide a certificate of insurance (COI) naming Cypress Island Marina as an additional insured, with coverage of at least $300,000.

  3. Send everything before arrival

    Email all photos and documents to Dockmaster Cindy Wellmer at cindy@cypressislandmarina.com.

Where is Cypress Island Marina?

We are at 2775 Cypress Island Drive, Palm Beach Gardens, FL 33410. The marina is a gated community in a protected hurricane hole, half a mile north of the Donald Ross Bridge on the Intracoastal.

Are the slips for rent or for sale?

Every slip is individually owned, and owners offer them for sale or for rent from time to time. You can check real estate listings for Cypress Island Marina Condo, or call the dockmaster at 561-626-1792.

What comes with each slip?

Each slip has concrete docks, a concrete seawall and oversized wood pilings. You get 30, 50 and 100 amp shore power, a pump-out station at your slip, and access to unassigned parking at or near the slips, subject to availability. Wi-Fi and a live camera view of your boat are optional.

What facilities can slip owners use?

The marina office has men's and women's restrooms with showers, and a coin laundry. For a nominal fee, slip owners can also use the neighboring community's swimming pool.

Can I have fuel delivered to my boat?

Yes. Fuel trucks are allowed to deliver dockside, straight to your boat, and that costs less than fueling up at a waterside marina.

Can I install a boat lift?

Yes. Slip owners can install a personal boat lift, but the Board of Directors has to approve the plans before any installation starts.

Can I live aboard my boat?

No. Cypress Island Marina does not allow live-aboards.

Is the marina secure?

Yes. Cypress Island Marina is a gated community, with controlled access to the docks and parking.

What paperwork does my boat need?

Before your vessel arrives, submit two recent vessel photos, current registration, boat insurance, signed marina rules and regulations, and a certificate of insurance naming the marina as an additional insured for at least $300,000. See the full arrival requirements, then email everything to cindy@cypressislandmarina.com before you arrive. No transient dockage or accommodations are available.
